Teacher Ling is an ex-MOE Singapore teacher who has 8 years of teaching in Bukit Panjang Govt High school and over 15 years of private tutoring. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Education. She has taught ESL learners in Chile, USA and Mexico. Currently teaching cultural studies in Taiwan in a bilingual program, she continues to tutor Singapore students with special needs and those interested in going into the IB program online. She has been featured in MOE magazine as a teacher with a sense of humour which helps her to have good rapport with her students all over the world. She has also written a book chapter about teaching literature in Singapore which is now used as a supplementary textbook by NIE teachers. She believes in teaching her students skills they can apply in both their school and after school. She has also conducted workshops for students doing O level literature as it is her forte.
Teacher Susan has over 10 years experience as a private tutor focusing on Maths and Science. She believes learning is a lifelong journey and her passion is helping students believe that they can also do well in their studies. She makes learning fun and increases the confidence of students in the process. Many of her students improve their grades with her study tips and progress to top schools. She is familiar with the MOE syllabus and able to break down complex problems using easy to understand concepts. Her students include international students who are intrigue by Singapore Maths.During her spare time, she enjoys working on challenging puzzles (which most people find strange), cooking and travelling the world.
Teacher Parvin is a MOE registered tutor who has been teaching local Primary and Secondary students since 2006. A qualified Engineering graduate with both local and international teaching experience, she has worked as a relief teacher at a secondary school and is also currently a tutor in CDAC and SINDA. She is passionate in teaching and believes in conceptual teaching and not blind memorization. Her students have been placed successfully in reputable institutions and the feedback has been always positive that the students had been doing very well in their tertiary levels due to a strong foundation in their studies.
